Hi, my name is Renata Loureiro, I am 36 years old, and I was born in Mairiporã, São Paulo, on December 29, 1989. Of these 36 years of mine, 14 years were spent in the classroom, as a teacher of Elementary and High School students. My subject is the dreaded Mathematics, so I try to make it a little easier through lighter lessons and always keeping track of the students' development. Besides the school environment, I really like animals. Since childhood, I have always sought to welcome and care for animals I find on the street. Some become mine, others find their families, but as a Catholic and devotee of Saint Francis of Assisi, I can't see them and not help them. I have hosted everything from litters with 9 puppies to an opossum. I currently have two dogs and five cats, all found on the street or from NGOs. I have a very busy and tiring daily routine, but I always try to set aside some day of the week to be with my family. Talking with them and laughing with them recharges my batteries. I also usually go to a lot of concerts of artists I like, after all, music does me a lot of good. My favorite music genres are: MPB, Pop, Rock, and Pagode. To relax, I like to read and watch movies. I have already watched the majority of Disney movies, especially the classics. My favorite among the classics is “101 Dalmatians,” because it talks about the importance of taking care of animals without selling them. A fun fact about me related to Disney is that when I was six years old, I participated in a writing and illustration contest for the book “The Ugly Duckling” and won first place. My prize was a book with the story of Snow White in which I am one of the characters. Currently, I have moved from Franco da Rocha to the city of Caieiras to be closer to my work and to find a calmer place to live. At this moment I have fulfilled a childhood dream, which was to live in an apartment. I have always found it very safe and cozy living 'up high,' and I'm still getting used to it and learning the nuances of being in a new city, which is really fun for me because I love new experiences and starting things from scratch. Whenever I realize that a chapter is ending, I don’t get sad. I get excited and eager to see what the next step will be. Speaking of the next step, now I want to get organized to travel more, visit other countries, and broaden my horizons alongside my family. We always travel together, but I want to take them to even more amazing places. I'm fluent in Spanish, which gives me a huge desire to explore Latin America. But besides that, I also want to visit Japan, Italy, and Spain. All of this are dreams to be achieved, and I can’t wait to have many stories to tell and enjoy beautiful landscapes with the people I love.
