Born in Kreuzlingen in 1997. From 2019 to 2021, Silvan completed an internship at the film production company Cine Royal Productions GmbH. Since 2021, Silvan has been studying at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, specializing in montage/editing. In addition to the stop-motion satire CHAIRITY, Silvan edited the short documentary GENE:SIS by Kia Krebs, which celebrated its world premiere at Vision du Réel in 2024. The short fiction film THIS IS NOT A CHARACTER, THIS IS BETRAYAL by Romina Küper has been screened at over 50 film festivals. During his mobility year, Silvan edited his first feature film, FIRST SWISS ROCKSTAR. As part of his project-based studies, he edited the short fiction film I LIVE FOR YOU, his first documentary, DIE MARISTENKINDER by Johannes Hör, and is currently editing the feature film HYPER BABY by Romina Küper.
