Kelly Taffe
Kelly Taffe was raised in Harlem, New York and Reston, Virginia. She is the daughter of the late Simone and Henry Taffe, both of Kingston, Jamaica. Her mother Simone was a respected high school teacher in Jamaica but became a Financial Analyst and her father Henry was one of the first black jewelry store owners in Yonkers, New York. Kelly's first professional acting job was in Season To Be, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.while in grade school. She made her New York debut in Lincoln Center Theater's production of Playboy of the West Indies with Lorraine Toussaint. She has worked on Broadway in Horton Foote's last play "Dividing The Estate", on TV in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and HBO's new series, Divorce with Sarah Jessica Parker. Kelly was recently nominated as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Dorcas in Safe House at the Repertory Theater of Saint Louis. She is a working actress in Theater, Film and TV.
