A documentary about Britain’s greatest athlete. Undefeated for 25 years, Leeds-born amateur cyclist Beryl Burton won seven World Championships, beat men’s records and transformed women’s sport; all while working on a Yorkshire rhubarb farm. Through unseen archive, letters and intimate interviews, the film explores the glory of her achievements and the cost of her obsession, particularly on her relationship with her daughter Denise, who followed her into competitive cycling.
